We are the Group of Cell Therapy and Tissue Engineering located at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), the Tissue Bank of the Balearic Islands (FBSTIB), and the Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands (IdISBa)
The origins of the TERCIT Lab
The laboratory was funded in 2009, when Dr. Antoni Gayà hosted Dr. Joana M. Ramis and Dr. Marta Monjo in the creation of what is now the TERCIT Group. Slightly, the Group has grown and emerged as a referent in health research of the Balearic Islands and the UIB.
The lab is dedicated to the research and development of new therapies and technologies in the field of cell therapy, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine and its translation into clinical practice.
